under the 'actions' lightning icon choose ctrl+alt+del(until you do this auto-adapt option below is greyed out).Wait until it it says 'waiting for image'.To save you a click, here are the steps (OP = sjpt1): (My other setup that uses VGA connection, doesn't have this problem). But then, it will show the "Waiting for image" message indefinitely. When I try to connect to the host computer (while the monitors are in sleep mode), the Status Icon would show green, which usually means it's good connect to. Monitors are set to sleep after an hour of no activity, but system is always on. Desktop computer with 3 monitors connected serially via mDP (MST, multi-stream transport). Hope this helps you! So a bit of background on my setup. I'm just reposting somebody else's method that I believe is the most effective in getting the connection to work if you are seeing the endless "Waiting for image" message.
